About Karma Files
Karma Files is a small, independent publishing tool built for one specific job: getting serialized short-form stories from a creator's desk onto their own TikTok account, without wrestling with a mobile editing app for every single episode.
Why it exists
Serialized storytelling on TikTok is repetitive by design. One story becomes five to nine short episodes. Each episode needs the same treatment: a vertical video file, a caption with the right hashtags, a part number, and a consistent visual style. Doing that by hand on a phone for every episode is slow and easy to get wrong.
Karma Files takes over the mechanical part. The creator still writes the story, records the narration, edits the video, and decides when to publish. The tool only handles the transfer.
What the tool does, in one sentence
It takes a finished vertical video and sends it to the creator's own TikTok inbox as a draft using TikTok's official Content Posting API.
Principles
- Nothing is published automatically. Every upload starts with a person pressing a button, and every post is finished by hand inside TikTok.
- Only official APIs. Karma Files uses TikTok's documented OAuth and Content Posting endpoints. It does not automate the TikTok app, bypass rate limits, or scrape pages.
- Minimal data. The tool keeps an authorization token and a temporary copy of the video being uploaded. Nothing else.
- Original content only. The workflow is designed for stories the creator wrote and videos the creator produced.
What Karma Files is not
It is not a scheduler that posts on your behalf, not a growth or engagement tool, and not a service for managing other people's accounts. It is a single-purpose utility for a single creator working on their own material.
