Terms of Service
Last updated: 18 September 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service govern your use of Karma Files ("the Service"), an independent content publishing tool. By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What the Service does
The Service connects to a TikTok account that you authorize, and sends video files you select to that account's TikTok inbox using TikTok's official Content Posting API. The Service does not publish content to the public on your behalf. Finishing and publishing a post happens inside TikTok, under your control.
3. Eligibility and account responsibility
You must be old enough to hold a TikTok account under TikTok's own terms. You are responsible for the TikTok account you connect, for keeping access to it secure, and for all activity that occurs through the Service using your authorization.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with TikTok's terms, applicable copyright law, and the rights of other creators. In particular, you agree not to use the Service to:
- Upload content you do not have the right to publish.
- Upload content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, or that infringes anyone's rights.
- Access, modify, or post to a TikTok account you are not authorized to use.
- Circumvent rate limits, security controls, or platform policies.
- Distribute malware or attempt to interfere with the Service or with TikTok.
5. Your content
You retain all rights to the videos, captions, and other material you submit. You grant the Service only the limited permission needed to transfer that material to TikTok at your request. You are solely responsible for the content you upload and for ensuring you hold the necessary rights.
6. Third-party services
The Service interacts with TikTok. Your use of TikTok is governed by TikTok's own terms and policies, which are outside our control. The Service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok. We are not responsible for TikTok's availability, decisions, content moderation, or changes to its APIs.
7. Availability and changes
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time. We may update these terms; the revision date above will change, and continued use means you accept the updated terms.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any upload will be accepted, processed, or made visible by TikTok.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, audience, or opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may disconnect your TikTok account from inside the uploader, which removes the stored authorization token. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated or if continued use creates risk for the Service or for others.
11. Contact
